Terzo mese a Shanghai / Third month in Shanghai

Ciao a tutti!

E sì, un altro mese è passato qui. Questo è il terzo mese che sono a Shanghai, ma secondo me il prossimo sarà quello più pesante perché si avvicinano Natale e Capodanno che quest’anno per la prima volta passerò lontana da amici e famigliari. Comunque in questo mese ho continuato a provare nuovi piatti in mensa, mentre non mi sono ancora fidata molto dello “street food”. Una sera insieme al mio ragazzo abbiamo anche cucinato la pasta al pesto e i nostri amici sono stati felicissimi di provarla! Peccato che avessi solo mezzo chilo di pasta! Inoltre abbiamo anche mangiato la pizza più buona per ora qui a Shanghai (la mangiamo raramente perché è molto cara) in un ristorante che si chiama Ciao Pizza 你好彼萨. Un’altra sera con alcuni mie compagni di classe abbiamo mangiato un piatto tipico venezuelano che si chiama arepa de reina pepiada. Praticamente una specie di panino fatto con farina di mais farcito con pollo bollito, avocado e maionese. Era davvero buono e credo che proverò a rifarlo a casa!

Le lezioni di cinese continuano ad andare avanti e mi sono accorta ora che non vi ho ancora detto il mio nome cinese! In cinese mi chiamo 明亮 míngliàng, che significa “luce, chiaro” e quindi ha una certa attinenza con il mio nome italiano. Vi piace? Adesso una cosa che mi preoccupa è che quando sarà ora di tornare in Italia avrò perfezionato bene il mio cinese e non potrò più usarlo così frequentemente e temo che lo perderò più in fretta. Le lezioni di calligrafia e quelle in inglese al pomeriggio stanno per terminare infatti sarò un po’ impegnata per gli esami finali di questi corsi. Spero comunque di trovare il tempo per pubblicare i posti che ho visitato perché al momento sono un po’ indietro! Vi lascio alcune foto fatte con il cellulare. A presto!

Hi everyone!

Oh yes, another month has just passed. This is the third month I stay here in Shanghai, but I think that this one that is coming will be the most hard because Christmas and New Year are coming and for the first time this year I won’t celebrate them with my family and my friends. However, in this month I continued trying new dishes at the university canteen, but I didn’t trust yet in street food. One evening with my boyfriend, we cooked pasta with pesto and our friends were so happy to eat it! Pity that I had only 500gr of pasta! Me and my boyfriend also ate the best pizza here in Shanghai (we eat it very rarely because it’s really expensive) in a restaurant that is called Ciao Pizza 你好彼萨. Another evening with some of my schoolmate we cooked a typical venezuelan dish that is called arepa de reina pepiada. It’s a kind of sandwich made of corn flour filled with boiled chicken, avocado and mayonnaise. It was so good that I will try to do it again at home!

The Chinese lesson still go on and I noticed that I didn’t tell you my Chinese name! My Chinese name is 明亮 míngliàng, which means “light, bright” and so has the same meaning of my Italian name. Do you like it? Now one thing that worried me is that when will be time to go back home in Italy I will have improved really good my chinese and I won’t be able to talk a lot like here and I’m worried to loose very soon my progress. The calligraphy lessons and the ones in english in the afternoon are quite finish and for that I will be a bit busy for their final exams/papers. I hope to find the time to publish some post about the places I visited because at the moment I’m a bit late! I leave you some photos took with my phone. Read me soon!
