Book Depository Haul #4

Ciao a tutti!

Book Depository Haul_4

“Humans and androinds crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, a ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth’s fate hinges on one girl… Sixteen-year-old Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She is a second-class citizen with a mysterious past and is reviled by her step-mother. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future. Because there is something unusual about Cinder, something that other would kill for.”

“Cress grew up as a prisoner. With only netscreens for company, she’s forced to do the bidding of the evil Queen Levana. Now that means tracking down Cinder and her handsome accomplice Emperor Kai. But little does Queen Levana know that those she seeks, and the man she loves, are plotting her downfall… As paths cross and the price of freedom rises, happily ever after has never seemed further away for Cress, Scarlet and Cinder.”

“Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scar that mar her face, her beauty is said to be ever more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana. Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feeling for her childhood friend, tha handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her alles, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long. Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters?”

Hi everyone!

As you might understood from the title and as I anticipated you in the last updates, I’ve bought new books from Book Depository. For these reason these books are in the original language: English.

Book Depository Haul_4

After some friends of mine give me Scarlet as a gift, I decided to buy the others books of the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, but I realised I have bought the wrong edition of the third volume Cress because is smaller then the other and now I don’t know what to do. I prefer to have the all tetralogy in the same edition. But now I show you want I got.

As always they give me some bookmarks. This time are all white and black because you have todecorate by yourself and then share on the social with the tag Book Depository, but I really like them simple like this.

CinderThe first book is Cinder. The thing that I liked most about this serie is that are all based on our childhood and animated cartoon stories that anyone knows. This book in particular talks about Cinder (as you can understand from the title), but she is a cyborg.

CressThe third book is Cress, but I don’t like so much this edition especially because is completely different from the others. What I should do? I cannot make a gift with it because is the third of the tetralogy…Anyway this book is based on the story of Rapunzel, as you may understood from the long braid on the cover.

WinterThe last book I’ve bought which is also the last of the tetralogy is Winter. Of course we cannot have other then Snow White for the final. Also this book is not in the same edition of the first, but is pretty much similar.

And what about you? Which is the last book you bought?
