Ciao a tutti!
Domenica 5 Marzo, insieme ad alcuni nuovi amici sono andata a visitare le incisioni rupestri di Dazu (Dazu shike 大足石刻). La città di Dazu si trova a circa due ore a ovest di Chongqing e oltre a essere una città è anche uno dei distretti della municipalità di Chongqing. Alle 9.40 siamo partiti dalla stazione dei bus di Chongqing per raggiungere Dazu. Un volta arrivati alla stazione dei bus di Dazu abbiamo preso un pullman di linea per raggiungere il sito delle incisioni rupestri. Il biglietto complessivo è costato 48¥. Purtroppo il tempo non era dei migliori infatti pioveva, ma per fortuna non pioveva troppo forte e siamo riusciti comunque a visitare tutto. Abbiamo fatto il biglietto cumulativo per visitare sia il sito principale che quello situato più a nord. Per gli studenti questo biglietto costa 85¥. Il sito principale è molto carino, però purtroppo non abbiamo potuto vedere bene l’attrazione principale (il buddha sdraiato) perché era sotto manutenzione e quindi aveva una brutta rete verde davanti. Dopo pranzo ci siamo recati al sito più a nord e anche questo è bellissimo soprattutto se avete la fortuna di visitarlo da soli, non c’era proprio nessuno, come noi! Poi ci siamo anche recati ad una pagoda lì vicino e a vedere due statue giganti scavate nella pietra. Siamo poi tornati a Chongqing con l’ultimo bus disponibile. La giornata non mi è dispiaciuta, peccato un po’ per la pioggia!

Sunday 5th of March, with some new friends, I went to visit the Dazu Rock Carving (Dazu shike 大足石刻). The city of Dazu is two hours away from Chongqing and it’s also one of the districts of the municipality of Chongqing. We left the Chongqing bus station at 9.40. When we arrived at the Dazu bus station we took another bus to reach the place of the rock carving. The bus ticket to get there it costs 48¥. The weather wasn’t the best because it was raining, but fortunately it didn’t rain so strong so we manage to visit all the site. We bought a cumulative ticket to visit the main site and the one in the north. For the students this ticket costs 85¥. The main area is really beautiful, but unfortunately the best part (the lying Buddha) was under reconstruction, so we couldn’t see it well. After lunch we went to the northern site and this was really wonderful because we had the fortune to visit it alone (there were no people there). Near the site there s also a little pagoda and two big statue carved in the rocks. Then we came back to Chongqing with the last bus. The day was quite good, but I hate the rain!
