Oggi vi voglio parlare del sabato in cui con alcune ragazze italiane sono andata a visitare il quartiere di Ciqikou 磁器口.
Raggiungere Ciqikou è molto semplice perché la linea 1 (rossa) della metro ha una fermata con lo stesso nome. Purtroppo la metro non raggiunge tutte le zone della città, ma ci sono sicuramente anche molti bus che ti portano a Ciqikou.
Ciqikou 磁器口 (letteralmente ‘porto di porcellana’) è un quartiere ricostruito in stile architettonico cinese tradizionale ed è composto da vari vicoletti dove si affacciano diversi piccoli negozietti che vendono di tutto, da cibo particolare a piccoli souvenir. Infatti qui ho preso una tazza ricavata dal bambù, su cui puoi farci incidere quello che vuoi, dal nome della persona tradotto in caratteri a un particolare chengyu (tipica frase a 4 caratteri che ricorda un po’ i nostri proverbi italiani). Oltre a questi negozietti abbiamo anche avuto l’opportunità, con una piccola offerta, di visitare un tempio buddista. Non mi sarei mai aspettata che in un posto così turistico ci fosse anche un piccolo tempio arroccato su una collinetta.

Today I want to tell you about the Saturday I spent with some other Italian girls visiting Ciqikou 磁器口.
Reach Ciqikou it’s really easy, because the metro line 1 (red) has a metro station called ‘Ciqikou’ so you cannot make mistake. Unfortunately the metro of Chongqing doesn’t reach every part of the city, but I’m sure you can find a bus to get there.
Ciqikou 磁器口 (literally ‘Porcelain port’) is a reconstructed area where you can see the ancient roof of traditional Chinese culture. It’s full of little shops where you can find whatever you want, strange food, paintings, Sichuan Opera’s houses and little souvenirs. There I found the perfect gift for my cousin: a mug carved by bamboo and on it you can engrave some Chinese characters. Unexpectedly around this little streets we also find a Buddhist Temple. To enter you have to offer some coin, but it’s really nice because it’s completely on a little hill.
